Osh Bites was founded in December 2015, in Toronto Ontario by two Brazilians, Lucas Holtz and Diogo Cabus. Mixing background knowledge and skills, a lot of enthusiasm and a popular Brazilian word from their region (pronounced ōsh), Osh Bites Imports Corporation was created.

Their partnership was built on a common desire: to provide quality Brazilian products to everyone living in Canada. The company was created to achieve customer satisfaction with a high end service, while also bringing to Canada the best of Brazil.

Before choosing their first products to import, the partners took several months researching which products the Brazilians that were living in Canada (specifically the GTA) missed the most from home. On the top of that list was the tapioca dough to make Beiju, a Brazilian style crepe. The two understood what it was like to miss a food from home, so they teamed up with Promafa, to bring in their top quality tapioca dough “Tapioca Brasil”.
